Singer & Nay Player
Kalia Lyraki is a London-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist working within
the music of the Eastern Mediterranean. Raised among the olive groves of her village in
Crete and rooted in London, she writes contemporary Greek folk songs that give voice to
the unspoken. Her music has travelled widely, appearing across concert halls, film, video
games, and broadcast, and is recognised for its emotional clarity and depth. Moving
between sea and mountains, solitude and connection, her songs speak from a distinctly
feminine place, holding strength and vulnerability side by side. Intimate and unguarded, her
music invites close listening and a sense of shared humanity.
